Veteran star Gil Gerard passed away on the morning of December 17 at the age of 82. He was best known for his role in the 1979–81 series ‘Buck Rogers in the 25th Century.’ His wife shared an online social media post about him, announcing the actor’s passing.She shared in her post that, “From the moment when we knew something was wrong to his death this morning was only days. No matter how many years I got to spend with him, it would have ever been enough. Hold the ones you have tightly and love them fiercely.” She further revealed that the actor had passed away while receiving care at a hospice centre for his cancer.
