The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has extended the deadline for submission of the No Objection Certificate (NOC) for candidates seeking admission to Sponsored DNB (Post MBBS and Post Diploma) seats for the 2025 admission session. The decision follows directions issued by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.According to the official letter from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and the recent notice from NBEMS, a lower minimum qualifying percentile is set for NEET PG 2025. The aim of the decision is to increase the number of eligible candidates and to make sure that the sponsored seats are not left vacant.The change in the qualifying criteria is solely for NEET PG 2025 and is associated with the current counselling process.

Extended deadline for NOC submission

Along with the announcement of NBEMS dated 10th December 2025 regarding the Centralized Merit-Based Online Counselling, the deadline for submitting the NOC is now extended. Candidates can submit the NOC of the desired format till 7th February 2026.This extension allows those who are eligible and would like to go for the counselling of sponsored DNB seats to submit their documents.

Eligibility rules and NOC format unchanged

NBEMS has stated that no changes have been made either to the eligibility requirements or to the NOC format.
