Take a wooden plank and place an idol of Lord Vishnu along with Shree Yantra (a symbol of Goddess Lakshmi).4. Light a diya with desi ghee in front of the idol.6. Take a sankalp of observing fast with purity and piousness.7. Offer Tulsi Patra, fruits, and panchamrit to the deity.8. Chant Shri Krishna Maha Mantra 108 times to invoke the idol.9. In the evening again one must offer prayers to the Lord, recite the story of particular Ekadashi and chant aarti of Lord Vishnu.10. Never pluck tulsi patra on the day of Ekadashi.11. People can have fruits, and milk products but during Nirjala Ekadashi they are advised not to take anything.12. In case you are unable to observe Nirjala Vrat due to any health condition then you can observe a normal fast.13 The fast will be broken on the next day i.e., on Dwadashi Tithi during Parana Time.
