Ronit Roy takes a break from social media for ‘mental’ and ‘spiritual’ growth, promises return after ‘better habits’ are built: ‘Please don’t forget me’ | Hindi Movie News – The Times of India

Ronit Roy has surprised fans by announcing a pause from social media, choosing personal growth over the constant online rush. The actor shared a heartfelt note explaining that he is stepping back to rebuild his habits, rethink his life path and discover a stronger version of himself. He also turned off comments on his post. Here’s what he announced in his emotional message.

Ronit Roy’s heartfelt message to followers

On 22 November, Roy posted a long and emotional note on Instagram to explain why he is taking a temporary break. He began by saying, “Hello, What I’m about to say, will come from a place of love, understanding and gentleness. Y’all know I love you. I scroll, like your posts, comment on your posts and reply to as many DM’s as I possibly can. I’m immensely grateful for all that I have received. I cherish everything. Especially the love and respect I’ve received from yall which I treasure and hold very close to my heart.“

His new life direction is being explored

Ronit went on to explain that he has reached a stage in life where he needs to make changes for himself and his family. He wrote, “However, I have reached a place in life where I have to forge a new road ahead for myself and my family. A road which will hopefully lead to a better me as a human being, in relationships and as an actor. This road is one that I haven’t walked on earlier. Leave comfort and old bad habits behind. Jump and live out of the box. Scary… I know… but needs to be done!”

Ronit Roy speaks about digital detox and self-growth

Speaking about the role of social media in this change, Ronit wrote, “Total digital separation is one of the key factors in me growing stronger mentally and spiritually and finding the new me (whom hopefully y’all will love more). Hence for a while (uncertain how long) please pardon me for not engaging on social media at all.”

Promises to be back soon

Even though he is stepping back, Ronit reassured fans that this break is not forever. He added, “Needless to say, it’s impossible to live away from your love hence I’ll be back as soon as personal targets are reached and better habits acquired and practiced. Please don’t forget me. Love y’all and God Bless y’all.”

Ronit Roy on the work front

Ronit Roy has been one of the most recognised faces in Indian television and films. He became widely popular through his role in the hugely successful family drama ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’. Over the years, he has also appeared in several hit films, including ‘Student of the Year’, ‘2 States’, ‘Shootout at Wadala’ and ‘Kaabil’. Recently, he was seen in the mythological horror film ‘Maa’ starring Kajol. He also appeared in the TV series ‘Chakravarti Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan’.
