West Bengal HS result 2026: The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education will announce the WB HS result tomorrow on May 14, 2026. Students who appeared for the West Bengal Class 12th board examinations will be able to access the result, once the link is activated. According to the official notification, the Higher Secondary results will first be declared at 10:30 AM through an official announcement. However, students will be able to access their individual marksheets online from 11 AM onwards through the official result portals.Last year, the West Bengal Class 12th results were declared on May 7, 2025 at 12:30 PM. The pass percentage was 90.79. The officials are expected to release a list of the toppers after the results are declared. The marksheet will contain important details such as: Candidate’s name, roll number, board details, class, stream, marks, grade, total marks, and qualifying status.

WB HS result 2026: Minimum marks needed to pass
As per the criteria laid down by the board, students are required to secure at least 30% marks in every subject to pass the West Bengal Higher Secondary examination. The overall score includes theory, practical, and project components. Candidates must also separately obtain a minimum of 30% marks in both the theory papers and the practical or project sections to qualify successfully for higher studies.
Distribution of original mark sheets
The council has also announced that hard copies of mark sheets, pass certificates, and registration certificates will be distributed on May 14 from 11 AM onwards.These documents will be made available through 56 distribution centres set up across West Bengal. Schools will collect the documents from the centres and later distribute them to students.
